Emraan Hashmi has quite a few
interesting films on his plate and Vikram Bhatt’s directorial venture Mr. X will be his first release this year.
Co-starring Amyra Dastur, the film is slated to hit the screens on April 17. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh announced this piece of information on Twitter a while back.
He wrote, “#MrX to release on 17 April. Directed by Vikram Bhatt. Stars Emraan Hashmi.”
Apart from this, Hashmi has two more films under his belt – Mohit Suri’s next Hamari Adhuri Kahani with Vidya Balan and cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin’s biopic. While the former is scheduled for June release, the makers of Azharuddin biopic are yet to lock a date for their film. Talking about Mr. X , Emraan has told us during an interview, “Its a film where a lot of bad things have happened to this man.
Unfair things happened to him and then he happens to get this superpower which makes him invisible.
You can only see him in certain type of light and then he takes on all the bad guys. So its a very different kind of science fiction film which has VFX and 3D. I would say its 21st century’s Mr India. Its darker, more edgier and more naughtier.”
