Kangana Ranaut has been very categorical in announcing her displeasure for awards and award ceremonies.
It can be recalled that not so long ago, she had said, “Everyone gets an award these days. There are also awards for best smile and best saree.
So you feel why are you sitting here (at the award show), if awards are given just for the sake of making people happy.
I think at any given age, there are priorities that you have. Awards are not my priority .”But it seems she might make an exception for the National Award ceremony this year. Kangana has been awarded as the best actress for her performance in QUEEN .
When asked the director of the film, Vikas Bahl, if she would make it for the National Award ceremony, he said, “I think so and I hope so.”
Well, we just hope that she does make it because the National Awards are something else, unlike the numerous other awards.
