Aishwarya Rai is an Indian film actress and model who was bron on 1st Novemeber 1973 at Mangalore, Karnataka. She won the Miss World pageant of 1994. She made her film debut through the Tamil film Iruvar directed by Mani Ratnam in 1997. She was awarded with the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 2009
Biography
Aishwarya rai was born on 1st November 1973 at Manglore, Karnataka to Krishnaraj and Brindya. She has a brother named Aditya Rai. Her family shifted to Mumbai and she did her schooling and college there. She started modelling during her college days and she become the runner up of Miss India pageant in 1994. Aishwaya won the Miss World pageant of 1994. Aishwarya Rai made her film debut in film "Iruvar" directed by Mani Ratnam in 1997.
She married to Abhishek Bachchan in 20 April 2007 and the couple has a daughter named Aaradhya Bachchan who was born on 16 November 2011.
